Legal Limits

Michigan’s marijuana purchasing laws have set a limit on the amount of recreational cannabis that adults can legally purchase from licensed dispensaries. According to state law, residents and visitors over 21 years old are allowed to buy up to 2.5 ounces (70 grams) of cannabis flower or its equivalent in edibles and concentrates per transaction. However, the total amount of marijuana one person can possess is capped at 10 ounces (283 grams). It’s essential to be aware of these limits when planning your cannabis purchases in Michigan.
